PRODUCTS MADE OR ASSEMBLED IN AMERICA!

We have designed some new graphics to indicate if a product is Made in America. We have also designed one that indicates that a product was Assembled in America, but with components both Domestic and Foreign. This will be especially useful for our survival kits, which we design and assemble here in America, but some of the components have been made in another country. Although we only select the best products we can find in a given category, we hope these graphics will assist in your product selections. Your Survival Is Important To Us!

They Are Back!
Curad Extreme Length Bandages
We used to sell tons of these and they suddenly were discontinued by Curad. Well, after complaining, begging, etc., Curad is making them for us again. These are the best bandages I have ever found for those people who spend a lot of time outdoors in the dirt. These bandages are extra long, so they wrap around your finger twice and stay put. I have worn these for days in the field, in the rain, etc, and have never had one fall off. They come in a box of twenty and you can put them in all your first aid kits, as well as carry a few in your wallet like I do. Check them out CLICK HERE.

We Teach Basic Survival Skills in Virginia!
Survival Resources at Hampden-Sydney College

We were retained to travel to the prestigious Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia to present a Basic Survival Skills course the weekend of March 29th. This is one of the last two all men's colleges left in the US. The lecture portions of our course were presented indoors in refined and elegant surroundings. We then took the students out into the woods on the 900 acre campus, which even included hiking trails, for hands-on instruction. We have been asked to consider presenting some extended programs this fall. For more photos please visit our Photo Album by clicking on the "Photo Album" button on the left side of the page.

A good time was had by all. For more photos, please visit our Photo Album by clicking on the "Photo Album" button on the left side of the page.

Survival Resources visits:
The Katadyn Factory in Switzerland

In November 2007 during another visit to Switzerland, our Director, John McCann, and Sales Manager, Denise Vogler, were invited to visit the Katadyn Factory, where all of their water purification products are manufactured. They were surprised when they arrived, with Denise's mother and father, to see a welcome sign in the lobby for all of them. They meet with the Head of Marketing for Katadyn, Viola Frey, who started them off with coffee and espresso.
John was impressed with Viola's ability to speak English, as he had anticipated having Denise translate for him (his Swiss-German has gotten better but still isn't good). They examined every area of the factory, from making the actual ceramic filters, to the final assembly of the various products. Everyone was extremely friendly and willing to explain their function in the manufacturing process. The new Vario, which screws directly to a Nalgene bottle, as well as additional Katadyn products have been added to our Water Purification products section.
