Although the Emergency Fishing Kit was originally designed as a liferaft fishing kit it can easily be fitted with smaller tackle. The Hand Winder is great for reeling in fish and although it is supplied with 118 feet (30 meters) of monofilament line, it can easily be replaced with a braided line if you wish to do so. The Hand Winder fits nicely in our 21009 Large Survival Kit Tin (available separately), which could be the basis for a great fresh water fishing kit. The kit includes 2 large weights, 2 large hooks, 1 lure, and 2 snap swivels. It is all packaged in a heavy zip-closure bag. The kit also provides an instruction sheet on how to attach a hook to your line as well as helpful tips for fishing. The bag for the kit measures measures 5-1/4" x 3-1/4" x 1/2" and weighs 2.4 oz.
