Flint & Steel Fire Kit in Hudson Bay Tobacco Box

This is a complete Flint & Steel fire starting kit. It includes a Brass Hudson Bay Tobacco Box with a 6x magnifying lens mounted in the lid, a piece of flint, a “C” striker, char cloth, and jute. This was a very popular trade item stocked by Hudson Bay Company, Northwest Company and many others during the fur trade era. The Hudson Bay Tobacco Box has a friction fit lid and lens cover, and was copied from the museum original. Measures 4-5/16" x 3" x 1-3/16" and is made right here in America. Weighs approx. 5.3 oz.
