Stick of Fire

The Stick of Fire is a unique configuration of magnesium and ferrocerium, a new format of compact survival fire-starting device. It's formed into a unitary rod, half of which is magnesium and half is ferrocerium. The Stick of Fire™ is 7mm in diameter and 3 inches long, an efficient size for getting a good grip while still being compact enough to fit even the smallest survival kit. Scrape off shavings of the magnesium (the silver portion) to use as the accelerant, and then strike the ferrocerium (the gray portion) to create sparks to ignite the magnesium shavings. A protective case is included. Also included is one of our Ceramic Micro Striker/Scrapers. Weight: 0.4 oz. Made in USA.
