TinderSticks

TinderSticks® are made from Pinus Oocarpa & Pinus Caribaea , a fatwood pine cultivated in Honduras. With their 80% resin content, they are easy to light, even when wet, and produce an extremely hot flame. We tested these against some of the fatwood sold in stores, and these are the best we have found. We could ignite shavings from these sticks with just a spark. They come in a package of 6-8 sticks and they average about 9" long. In order to carry them more easily in a pack or kit, you can saw them into shorter lengths and split them into smaller pieces by batoning. Package Weight: 11.5 oz.
